Please note: We continue to monitor COVID-19 activity in our patient populations as well as with all employees at our hospitals so that we can continue to adjust policies as needed. As always, our patient and employee safety and well-being remain our highest priorities.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Due to a decrease in demand and an increase in alternative vaccination sites, DKH is no longer offering Community Vaccine Clinics. If you are in search of a COVID-19 vaccine, please contact your primary care physician or visit the Northeast District Department of Health (NDDH) Website for more information.
COVID-19 Testing
DKH is no longer routinely testing patients who are being admitted for inpatient or outpatient care for COVID-19.
Instead, tests may be selectively given to patients:
- with symptoms consistent with a current Covid-19 infection,
- with a recent high-risk Covid-19 exposure,
- for specific physician or patient concerns,
- and prior to any aerosolizing procedures.
Getting a COVID-19 Test
